​​​Tips To Determine Access Level

Clinical research projects where patient consent is required and they meet any of the following criteria may be provisioned with write-access to Connect Care (i.e. have a research (RSH) record​​:

  • Interventional studies happening at an AHS/Covenant Health site.
  • Observational studies involving research-specific orders (DI/Lab/ECG) happening at an AHS/Covenant Health site.


Please note: Observational studies with minimal patient care impact requiring research orders (such as a blood draw or urine sample for enrollment eligibility) that can be ordered outside of Connect Care where the service area can support non-Connect Care requisitions will be considered out of scope for Connect Care write-access.

Research studies that do not meet any of the in-scope criteria may qualify for Connect Care view-only access.​​
